This was the theme song to the 1974-1976 NBC series "Movin' On." The series starred Claude Akins and Frank Converse as truckers, and lasted 46 episodes.
Haggard wrote this song for the show, and in 1975, created a full-length version that was a #1 Country hit. (thanks, Julian - Oakland, AR, for above 2)
