D-Days by Hazel O'Connor

Album: Sons And LoversReleased: 1980Charted:
  • The title refers to "Decadent Days"; in her 1981 biography, Hazel said this song was inspired by a trip to a night club in London's West End where she met a lot of poseurs and "people looking very bizarre", which is quite a statement considering how bizarre she looked then.
Written by the lady herself for the Sons And Lovers album, "D-Days" made the top ten in the UK backed by "Time Is Free"; a new version was released later on Albion Music with the Lou Reed song "Men Of Good Fortune". >>
