Billy Talent debuted this song at The Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo, Norway on June 14, 2008.

A demo version was released as a single in 2008 with the addition of guest vocalists Justin Sane and Chris #2 of Anti Flag. The album version does not include their guest vocals. Frontman Ben Kowalewicz told Kerrang! May 30, 2009: "This hasn't changed much since the time we released this as a single with Anti-Flag. This is about being accountable for your actions - socially, politically and environmentally."
