The Airborne Toxic Event

Songfacts®:  You can leave comments about the song at the bottom of the page.

This was Airborne Toxic Event's debut single. It was re-released in 2009 after the band gained some notoriety.
Both this song and "Sometime Around Midnight" were penned by the band's songwriter Mikel Jollett about the same former girlfriend. However they were written nearly a year apart. Jollett told MishMashMagazine.com that this song, "was actually written first but is a more upbeat take on the situation I guess."
