Songfacts®:

  • This song is about leaving a part of your life behind and looking forward, without trying to predict what will happen. The singer doesn't know what's going to happen ("feeling my way through the dark"), and at first she wants to know what the future holds ("Trying to find a light on somewhere"). But then she realizes it's just better to take things as they come and see what will happen ("I'm finding I've fallen in love with the dark"). >>

  • Hannah from Chatham, NjI love the piano in this song. I saw her doing it live on youtube, and she said even though she took piano lessons when she was younger, this was the only song she really used a lot of piano on.
