Songfacts®:

  • This song was released on May 25, 2010. It was intended for T.I.'s seventh studio album No Mercy but wasn't included on the final track listing. The song can be found as a bonus track on T.I.'s mixtape prior to the album, F--k a Mixtape. DJ Toomp produced the cut, which features American R&B and pop singer Keri Hilson.
  • T.I. explained the song's meaning during a video interview with Jamie Foxx: "[It's] basically just me showing my appreciation to all the ladies who got they man's back in the world, acknowledging the one who had my back and acknowledging the ones that got they man's back at the same time."
  • The music video was filmed on June 30, 2010, and premiered on July 22, 2010. It features cameo appearances from actors Lance Gross and Jill Marie Jones. T.I.'s fiancée, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle also makes a cameo appearance in the very last frame, when she walks out from behind the Atlanta MC as he is rapping.
The video tells the story of a man sentenced to prison and dealing with the enforced separation from his lover is a fitting subject, as it was filmed three months after T.I. was released from his nine-month incarceration for a weapons charge.
