  • During a concert in New York's Carnegie Hall in June 2008, Jill Scott shared a long on-stage kiss with her drummer, Lil' John Roberts. The pair then announced to the audience that they were engaged. Jill soon fell pregnant and on April 20, 2009 their baby boy, Jett Hamilton Roberts, was born. Sadly, within a couple of months the couple had broken up. This sparsely produced tune records their brief relationship and Scott's heartbreak at it ending so "quick."
