Album: Number The BraveReleased: 1981
This track has a fairly straightforward anti-nuclear message; following the departure of founder member, bass player and lead vocalist Martin Turner, axeman Andy Powell supplied the lead vocal with a little help from Claire Hamill, and although Turner is an excellent vocalist, this is a track which sounds better suited to Powell's voice. Powell co-wrote it with second lead Laurie Wisefield and drummer Steve Upton. It is the third track on the 1981 Number The Brave album. According to Martin Turner's on-line discography, it was released in March 1981 on the MCA label backed by "My Mind Is Made Up".
For most of the track, the guitar has a slightly tinny semi-acoustic sound which is much more in tune with the song's message than the band's usual twin lead.
