Cat Power's fans had an early Crimbo surprise when the singer-songwriter released her first original song since 2008 just before Christmas 2011. An MP3 of the song was made available on Cat Power's official site, in exchange for a donation of at least $0.99 to the Festival of Children Foundation and the Ali Forney Center charities.
The song was originally recorded for Cat Power's's 1996 album What Would The Community Think but wasn't included on the final track listing.
Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao stars in the song's music video, which features him working out on a speed bag, with his punches in almost perfect synch with the track's rhythm.
Don't have this song on your Sun album? You'll have to get the Japanese version where it appears as a bonus track.
