Songfacts®:

  • This is one of a trilogy of tracks on Boys and Girls about a guy that singer Brittany Howard had a relationship with. We see her lusting after him in "Be Mine," then she jubilantly bags him in "I Found You" and finally we hear her talking directly to her lover after he cheats on her on this song. Howard is not bitter about the experience and she told NME: "There you go, way to get 'em! But that's a good thing, it's a learning thing, a life thing, everybody does it. I don't think it's bad."
