This single by Electro/R&B singer Kelis received its first play during the June 30, 2012 show of The Beatnik Mix on London's Reprezent 107.3FM.
The song was produced by Skream, who is best known for being a member of UK dubstep group Magnetic Man, whose hits include "I Need Air" and "Perfect Stranger." His "Let's Get Ravey" re-mix of La Roux's "In for the Kill" was chosen by BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe as his record of the year for 2009.
Kelis told NME the story of the song: "I was working with a friend of mine," she explained "and she said 'Skream's got this great track for you, can I get him to send it?' So I said yes and then he sent that track and something else. I've been on a real 1990s vibe with this record, it's kind of trip-hoppish. So I wrote a track to that."
