  • This '90s R&B-influenced ballad is a semi-duet with Future. The Haitian-American rapper told Complex Magazine that it was Jay-Z who came up with the song title: "It was easy working with Rihanna," he said. "Very professional. I did what I had to do, I did my part and we made history. Jay-Z actually named the song, he liked the song so much he named it. He spelled it 'Loveeeeeee Song' with seven Es. It was genius of him to even do it that way and name the song."
  • Future told MTV News the heartfelt duet wasn't what he originally planned to do with Rihanna. "They wanted a more uptempo record, so I sent four or five records, and I left the last record. It was more like a ballad, and I left it," he explained. "It was a record that I didn't spend that much time on either. Less thought, [so] it was more natural."
  • Despite the fact that Rihanna and Future laid down their parts separately, and at the time of the recording he'd yet to meet the Bajan beauty, the Haitian-American rapper/singer believes they still connected. "The feel and vibe is nice, you couldn't even tell that by listening to the song, you'd think that we was in the studio, we was around each other [or] we knew each other," he told MTV News. "I talked to her, we had several conversations, but it wasn't one of those situations. I believe we connected in another way and like I said we just haven't met each other yet so when we meet each other I don't know how it's gonna be, because the music is already a smash."
  • The songwriting/production duo Nova Wav got their first placement on this song. Since then, they've gone to write and produce hits for the likes of Kehlani ("CRZY"), Jazmine Sullivan ("Pick Up Your Feelings") and Nicki Minaj ("Megatron"). The pair, comprising Brittany "Chi" Coney and Denisia "Blu June" Andrews, worked on eight out of the 16 songs from Beyoncé's 2022 Renaissance album.
