Songfacts®:

  • This spacey track is one of three cuts on Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors to feature the Electro-Pop duo Phantogram. Big Boi discovered the group online. "I was on the computer and their song 'Mouth Full of Diamonds' popped up on one of those ads," the Outkast rapper told Billboard magazine. "So I Shazamed it, found out who it was and then put it on my BigBoi.com."

"We freaked out, like, 'Holy s--t, Big Boi likes one of our songs,'" continued Phantogram vocalist Sarah Barthel. "We started tweeting each other and then were playing a couple of the same festivals, so we started hanging out and letting him know that we were down to collab."

Phantogram's other half, guitarist Josh Carter, also produced this track.
  • The song title refers to a condition in which people fall in love with an inanimate object. The first person to go public with the condition is believed to be Eija-Riitta Eklöf Berliner-Mauer, when she announced her love for a Swedish red fence. Another famous object sexual is Erika Eiffel, who married the Eiffel Tower in 2007. She founded OS Internationale, an educational website and international online community for those identifying or researching the condition to love objects.
  • The French that is spoken in the bridge translates as: "French women have painted the portrait of the one, called in the USA, 'the guy with a filled wallet' and we demand that it is displayed in its place, at the Louvre."
