Candles in the Sun by Miguel

Album: Kaleidoscope DreamReleased: 2012
  • Speaking with UK newspaper The Guardian, Miguel said that lyrically, he tried trying to stretch himself beyond the parameters of "your typical R&B dude" on Kaleidoscope Dream. This song, for instance, finds him singing about what is happening in the world including "babies on crack," "white-collared war crime" and "mindless bureaucracy hindering government aid." He concludes that "for the whole world, that there's no separation. We're all one."
