  • This song is about Bjork's then boyfriend, the English DJ Dominic "Dom T" Thrupp. It was written when he was living in the United Kingdom and Björk was still resident in Iceland. They were frequently apart, something the singer recounts on this tune.
  • The sax arrangements on this were done by American Jazz musician Oliver Lake, who co-founded the World Saxophone Quartet. Bjork and Lake originally linked up when they recorded the jazz standard, "Life Is Just A Bowl Of Cherries" for the John Hughes film Curly Sue.
