This was the first song by the Bay Area, California rapper and producer, Sage The Gemini, to break into the Billboard Hot 100. It finds him asking a girl to shake her booty faster, in the same way as pushing a gas pedal will speed up a vehicle.
The song features San Francisco rapper and record producer Iamsu! who is best known for featuring on LoveRance's "Up!." He is also a member of the production team, The Invasion.
