Bad Boy by Marty Wilde

Album: Bad BoyReleased: 1959Charted:
45
  • Not to be confused with any later song of the same title, in the May 2013 BBC documentary Rock 'N' Roll Britannia Marty Wilde said he wrote it silver disk - more out of frustration than anything else. It was about staying out late, and other trivial things that teens did in that era - and ever since. It was released on the Phillips label in December 1959 backed by "It's Been Nice" and rereleased on the Old Gold label in August 1982 backed by "Danny."

23 years later, Marty's daughter Kim Wilde had a hit with a song he co-wrote: "Kids In America." >>
