Pretty Lady

Album: Not Released On An Album (2013)

Songfacts®:

  • This tune starts: "I see your picture in magazines every day. You're beautiful but I must look away." Bugg told Q magazine that the subject of the song is supermodel Cara Delevigne. Bugg had a short relationship with her, and after their breakup, tabloid gossip was that the singer was devastated. He explained: "People were making stories about it so I made mine from it."
  • The song was dropped from the final tracklisting of Shangri-La and replaced by "Kitchen Table." "Not because of the subject," said Bugg, "but when the final mixes came back it was one of them that didn't seem as strong."
