  • This challenge about sharing the Christian message to loved ones before it's too late was the hardest song for frontman Mark Hall to write on the Thrive album. "It's a big, upbeat rockin' song about a person realizing that they've been a really cruddy friend because they haven't shared the truth with the person closest to them," he explained. "People say, 'I want to share the gospel, but I don't want to ruin my friendship.' What you are really saying is I love my friendship more than I love my friend. It's tough, but it's truth."

  • Devorah Mcintosh from IdahoI came across this song while I was visiting my siblings in California - all of whom are non-believers. Very educated, very successful, but fearful with the unrelentingly dark news. This song became my anthem throughout my visit.
Many of the songs on this album strike me as the artists being incredibly honest and vulnerable with the struggles they - and we all - experience in our Christian walk.
    Thank you.
