Songfacts®:

  • This is the closing theme song to the NetFlix cartoon series BoJack Horseman. Grouplove frontman Christian Zucconi wrote the track for the TV show. He said: "The creators of the show brought me to the animation studios where I watched a teaser that began to unveil the complex character of BoJack. Pretty sure he is every artist's worst nightmare, but regardless I find myself rooting for him."

"It was fun to write a song for BoJack," Zucconi added, "because it needed to combine the highs and lows that come with life but still be catchy as hell."
  • The song you hear playing in BoJack Horseman is essentially the original demo that Grouplove recorded. "We mixed it a little bit, but they didn't want a clean, spruced-up version," Zucconi recalled to ABC Audio. "They were, like, 'We like this.'"
