  • Christian from Houston, TxI discovered this song back in 2010, a year before I graduated high school. High school was a year where I had a lot of depressing times full of drama, and I couldn't wait to graduate. I prayed to God every day about each of the different matters I was facing. I don't believe in coincidence because this song always helped me get through them all. God is the reason I endured all of the drama, especially when it came to drama from others I went to school with, and eventually graduated, never, ever to return! It is no coincidence that God helped me discover this song as I do believe he wanted me to find it for that reason.
  • Kelly Collier from Whitmire, ScI love the song, and l love the singers. It is a very touching song. Much love sent ya'lls way. Thank You!!!!
  • Jesse from Dallas, TxWhen this song is performed in concert, the whole place just comes apart. Such a great feel-good song to jam out to, and such a great message too. Orale!
  • Megan from Stevenson, AlOMG! Love these people! FINALLY, true talent! lol I love this!
  • Lalah from Wasilla, AkThis is a perfect song to close any memorial service. It's hopeful in the face of despair. I picked it for child-loss memorial service and later found out that it was written for a SIDS baby.
  • Jake from Columbia City, InGreat Song. It's horrible that he lost his son that way. I'd be asking the same question...
  • Robert from Houston, TxLos Lonely Boys (Henry, Jojo and Ringo) were a little surprised that this song got the most airplay of all the songs on their first album and was their "breakthrough" hit. They felt they had a better shot with "Real Emotions" or the blistering "Crazy Dream." They attribute their success to "The Man Upstairs."
  • David from Port Saint Lucie, FlThe Christian group Salvadore also has a version of this song.
  • Gary from Indianapolis, InI feel for the lead singer of the song. I know exactly how he feels. I lost my seven year old son to Leukemia last April. I felt the same way. How far is Heaven? I don't believe there is any pain greater than losing a child.
  • Brandon from Peoria, IlOf all the songs that i have listened to on the radio, this song has gotten the most play on many different stations. I have heard Heaven on two country stations, a lite rock station, a modern mix station, AND a smooth jazz station. It's such an amazing tune that you can't place the genre, which in my opinion makes this song one-of-a-kind. I haven't heard anything else from LLB, but i am sure they all have a simmilar sound. Excellent song.
  • John from Fort Worth, TxI have been wrapped up in this song since I first heard it. I don't hear it too often though. Tonight I listened to the lyrics more closely and I'm happy to have this wonderful site where I have learned some valuable information. Staci's songfact about the inspiration for the song was heartbreaking.

  • Mary from San Jose, Cai listen to The Los Lonely boys, i like the way they mix up the music with a little spanish and english. Heaven is my favorite song of theirs and it's hard to explain why, only that i feel locked up sometimes and want to be in a better place.
  • Dennis from Anchorage, AkThey sound to me like a nice blend of Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Hope they can make it stick.
  • Emory from Suwanee, Gaone of my fave songs EVER!
  • James from Sarasota, FlThey're not really following Santana's footsteps too much. They said in an interview that they want to be the first Mexican family-oriented country stars.
  • Charlie from Thomaston, Cti kinda like the los lonely boys there pretty good following santana's footsteps!
