  • The first single and title track from Lana Del Rey's Honeymoon album is a sweeping ballad that finds her mining familiar territory. The lyrics are full of complicated love in which Del Rey sings about her bad-boy beau with a history of violence and also shout outs famous Los Angeles boulevards Wilshire and Pico.

  • Four thousand years ago in Babylonia, the bride's father would give his son-in-law all the honey-based beer he could drink for a month after his wedding. Since the Babylonian calendar was lunar-based, this period was called the "honey month." Today it's called a "honeymoon."
  • The Honeymoon artwork shows Del Rey in a tour vehicle that displays the hotline number 1-800-268-7886. Those who called the number could listen to songs from the album along with various Del Ray-approved poems and lectures.

Fans were recently alerted that the singer herself was answering calls from the number when she posted an Instagram message that read, "Call me. I'm home alone x". Several of them claimed to have successfully got through and actually chatted to Del Rey.
