  • This is a rather optimistic song from the 1969 musical Paint Your Wagon. After the bizarre marriage of Ben Rumson to the former wife of a Mormon, she asks him to build her a cabin. Which he does in double quick time with a little help from four hundred fellow miners.

    Although the role of soloist Elizabeth is played by Jean Seberg, the voice actually belongs to Anita Gordon.
  • "A Million Miles Away Behind The Door" was composed by André Previn and written by Alan Jay Lerner. It does not appear in the 1951 stage production. >>
