  • The title track to Macy Gray's 2014 album, "The Way" finds her reflecting on her life and looking toward the next stage of her journey. "'The Way' is really just life," she said in her Songfacts interview. "You struggle with what you want out of life. For me personally, it was just where I was at when I wrote it - kind of looking for the answers to a lot of things and trying to figure out how I was going to get where I wanted to go."
