Songfacts®:

  • This busbee, Nicolle Galyon, and Natalie Hemby penned song was recorded by Jana Kramer for her Thirty One album. She told IHeartRadio: "'Said No One Ever' is just really fun, catchy, up tempo, sassy, really fresh lyrics, and just sort of different. [Also] a different way of saying, 'Said No One Ever.'"
  • The song was released as the third single from Thirty One, following up Kramer's successful song, "I Got the Boy." Asked by People why she went in a stylistically different direction for the third release, Kramer replied: "Said No One Ever" is for sure different than "I Got the Boy" - and I wanted just that. I wanted to be able to show a different side. I love a good uptempo song that shows a lot of personality too! I feel like it'll be a great song to go into the summer with."
  • The bright, fast-moving video features Kramer trying out quite a few different looks. "I loved making this video! I had so much fun, and I wanted people to see that and have fun watching it," the singer said. "The song is sassy and fun, so I wanted the video to show just that. I wanted it to be really bright with lots of different setups and something totally different than any video that I've done - I feel we accomplished that!"
