Songfacts®:

  • Flaw's vocalist Chris Volz told The Culture Shock that the song is "about not lying to yourself when you look in the mirror. Seeing the true faces of people and if something’s not right, being able to recognize it and actually call it out. So it’s really kind of a self honesty type of song. I personally feel that not enough people are honest with themselves about certain things whether it’s life, relationships, career or whatever. And so this is one of those songs where it’s kind of like a really gentle smack in the face, saying shut up, turn around, look in the mirror and see your true self (laughs). Pretty much."
  • This is the album's sole single and, peaking at #25, it's the band's highest-charting single on the Mainstream Rock chart.
