This is a song from The Land, a film which follows four teenage Cleveland boys who pursue their dreams of being professional skateboarders and get caught up in drug dealing. The soundtrack was executive produced by Nas.
The song finds Pusha T and Jeremih trading lines about getting their due financial reward. It was written by LunchMoney Lewis and Cirkut and produced by Dr Luke. According to Lewis, it was originally a song intended for himself. He told Genius:
"That production was quick. Luke played that piano into his iPhone then sent to Cirkut - he cut it up and starting messing with drums. We were just vibin', it happened pretty quickly.
I was a writer. We actually had a song to that beat and those chords, but when we heard Jeremih and Pusha's version, it was dope so we passed it along."
