Songfacts®:

  • Written by lead guitarist Vic Malcolm and released on the EMI label in February 1973 backed by "Ain't It Just Like A Woman," this slightly uptempo commercial track was as good as things ever got for Geordie, but seven years later the band's lead vocalist was contacted out of the blue and asked to audition in London for an anonymous band. He accepted, and ended up replacing the tragic Bon Scott in AC/DC.

"All Because Of You" is not to be confused with any later song by either U2 or Blackmore's Night. >>
