Songfacts®:

  • This song, with the line, "The light in her heart is softly dying out again," is about the late Peaches Geldof, whom frontman Faris Badwan dated in 2008. The second daughter of musician and political activist Bob Geldof, she was found dead at her home on April 7, 2014 as the result of a heroin overdose.

Badwan told The Sun: "I had to have a real conviction in what I was writing. It is very difficult to write lyrics because they are very personal. I don't like speaking about them."
