Songfacts®:

  • This song was inspired by a time when someone close to guitarist Ingo Del Carmen was demanding his happiness while he was mourning the death of his best friend. He explained to Kerrang:

"It was a point in my life where I was in a really bad place and trying to figure out what I could have done differently as a friend. It was difficult to balance those emotions while trying to hold together a relationship that demands so much."
