Songfacts®:  You can leave comments about the song at the bottom of the page.

This song has no real meaning. It was written when the band was in New York. The idea came around after Kelly Jones got out of a cab and the driver said, "That's $7.50, have a nice day." (thanks, Steev - Doncaster, England)
This was used in the movie Dawn of the Dead, and also in the TV shows The Naked Chef and Veronica Mars. It was included on the soundtrack of the 2002 season of the show Roswell. (thanks, Bertrand - Paris, France)

I love pretty much all Stereophonics songs, I was amazed to see so few comments and facts about them.

How come no-ones commented on this brilliant song. I love the stereophonics. Theyre unreal. Another group of singers to come out of wales. Catchy song. Smooth and Lounge type song. One of their best

When he was playing Ozzfest with Black Label Society, a kid told Zakk he was the best Ozzy guitarist - Zakk had to correct him.

Susanna Hoffs - "Eternal Flame"Susanna Hoffs - "Eternal Flame"
The Prince-penned "Manic Monday" was the first song The Bangles heard coming from a car radio, but "Eternal Flame" is closest to Susanna's heart, perhaps because she sang it in "various states of undress."
