  • Bob Marley is a big influence on O.A.R. The line, "A wise man once told me he said, that music is the one thing that surrounds you, you feel no pain" comes from Marley's "Trenchtown Rock." >>

  • Tim from Columbus, Ohactually, there are two versions of this song.. OAR tends to make CD's off of the concerts they hold. In one version they do change up the line " one good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain." But in the original CD version, the line by Bob Marley is used in its original text.
  • Melissa from Madison, AlThey changed it up for some reason, I have no clue why they would do that. I guess because so many people have sampled this one quote. It is actually "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain." O.A.R. pretty much marches to the beat of their own drum.
