Songfacts®:

  • Dave Grohl took some heat for the line in this song, "One shot nothing," which many people felt was a reference to his Nirvana band mate Kurt Cobain's 1994 suicide. Grohl actually wrote the song in 1991, long before Cobain's death. >>

  • Luna Loud from Royal Woods, MichiganI thought he was talkin' about a condom, lolz!
  • Jd from Arlington, VaDave Grohl is from Northern Virginia. In Arlington, there is an old hotdog hang out that is well known to the locals and it is called Weenie Beenie. It's a day labor hangout now, but I drive past it everyday. I suspect that the title may have been inspired by Dave Grohl's roots here as a local.
