  • Music journalist Paul Morley, who provided much of the band's art direction, has claimed credit for writing the lyrics which are made up of three simple words: "Moments in Love."
  • Madonna thought this to be such a beautiful record that she used this as her wedding song when walking down the aisle for her doomed first marriage to Sean Penn.
  • The Video included a tortoise to symbolize the lethargy of mainstream Rock.
  • This was remixed and released as a single in 1985 after being first released in 1983 where it was a moderate hit on the US R&B Singles chart.
