This was written by Paul Carrack, who originally gave Timothy B. Schmit a cassette of this song backstage at Twickenham in England. Timothy performs lead vocals on the track.
The English vocalist Paul Carrack has been the vocalist for a number of bands including Ace and Mike And The Mechanics. He had a solo hit in 1987 with "Don't Shed a Tear."
This was released as the fifth single from Long Road Out Of Eden.
Carrack recorded his own version of this ballad featuring Eagles' Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit. It was released as a single from his 2007 I Know That Name album.
