  • The English vocalist Paul Carrack has been the vocalist for a number of bands including Ace and Mike And The Mechanics. He had a solo hit in 1987 with "Don't Shed a Tear."
  • This was released as the fifth single from Long Road Out Of Eden.
  • Carrack recorded his own version of this ballad featuring Eagles' Don Henley and Timothy B. Schmit. It was released as a single from his 2007 I Know That Name album.
