On March 16, St. Patrick’s Day Eve, singer-songwriter sombr<\/a> surprised fans at a concert in Dublin, Ireland. Fans were treated to a special appearance by The Cranberries founding members, Mike and Noel Hogan. The brothers joined sombr on stage, performing their iconic hit “Linger.” The song peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100 in 1993. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mike and Noel Hogan formed The Cranberries<\/a> along with lead singer Dolores O’Riordan in Limerick, Ireland, in 1989. They were one of the best-selling bands of the 1990s, with a string of hits. “Linger” was the band’s breakout hit, and set up the band’s following single, “Zombie,” to hit No. 1 in multiple countries. The song was ineligible to enter the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100, but it did hit No. 1 on the Alternative Airplay chart in 1994. The group disbanded following Dolores O’Riordan’s tragic, untimely death in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
