He invites the girl into a kind of reality, a perception of existence. Something greater than the physical. Fike also admitted to taking psychedelics when he wrote \u201cBabydoll\u201d, which explains the spacey gush below.<em><br><br>I\u2019m on the road to an original place in outer space,<br>I didn\u2019t make it up,<br>But you can\u2019t find it on a phone or a globe.<br>And I can take you with me if you really wanna go.<br>Oh, babydoll, I can\u2019t move on<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting on past struggles and the state of his life when writing \u201cBabydoll\u201d, Fike <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/dominic-fike-babydoll-streaming-surge-1235529231\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cLife at this time was fairly tumultuous, and I felt like a heavy burden on everyone I interacted with, especially women.
