Based on Carlie XCX&#8217;s pick, he seems to have impressed other popular mainstream artists as well. Lil Wayne signed with Cash Money Records when he was only about 12 years old, launching his lifelong career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lil Wayne, formally known as Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., has made many hits over the span of his almost 40-year career. People regard him as one of the most influential hip\u2011hop artists of his generation. Additionally, many artists openly credit him as one of the greatest rappers of all time, and that recognition extends far beyond Robbie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lil Wayne&#8217;s debut studio album <em>Tha Block Is Hot,<\/em> was a breakthrough for his solo career. He went on to make over ten more studio albums, becoming one of the worlds best selling artists. He has won almost 30 musical awards spanning multiple categories.
