Adele said &#8220;Chasing Pavements&#8221; was a song that &#8220;may have never been written.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She went on to explain, &#8220;I wrote this song with Eg White in London. I think I was doing three or four days in the studio with him. I left my guitar because I was going out that night. When I went back to pick it up, he had these great chords and a beautiful sample of strings, or something like that. It ended up being written in a day, and he sent it straight to Excel, my record company. That&#8217;s the start of my career, really.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A guitar left behind in the studio led Adele to stumble in on her first big hit being written, igniting her career.
