And speaking of chemical dispatches in the brain, \u201cWhere Is Gone?\u201d is a dark tale about falling in and out of love featuring a Spanish superstar and Dublin City\u2019s finest indie rockers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pervert Lines and \u201cI Love You\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Where Is Gone?\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3mb6YrCabso?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grian Chatten sets the noir scene with the primal wants that accompany falling in love. He\u2019s backed by sweet and melancholy orchestration, which feels like a musical metaphor for the ups and downs of a doomed affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The face you pull with pervert lines,<br>The perfect way to say, \u201cI love you,\u201d<br>On a rainy day in my head.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rosal\u00eda stares at his picture. It\u2019s a reminder of their past, but the photograph only tells part of the story. Some darkness, it seems, has undone the relationship.<br><em><br>The picture frame, it shows your face,<br>It\u2019s only worth what you pay in this world.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI could care less,\u201d Rosal\u00eda announces.<br>\u201cSo careless,\u201d Chatten answers, acknowledging her casual apathy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when he smiles, she sings, she returns to the time and place where they fell in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the chorus, the duo recalls overcoming despair, letting go of the past, and how this relationship will forever change them both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I remember when,<br>They held me up against the summertime.<br>And the tears would fall, baby, if you try,<br>There\u2019s no harm in saying, \u201cLeave it, let it die.\u201d<br>I remember when,<br>They held me up to the sunshine.<br>Until I called, \u201cBaby, if it\u2019s real,<br>There\u2019s no way I\u2019m going back to how I feel.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You\u2019re Not Alone at All<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She returns to the photograph and once again spots a fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The picture frame is surely wrong,<br>A certain man will come and tell you,<br>That you\u2019re not alone at all.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, Chatten tries to place himself inside a new chapter. To him, it\u2019s proof that love requires grief.
