Album: Mr. Wonderful (2015)

  • Both producer Mark Ronson and Action Bronson are fans of Billy Joel and this track was built around an interpolation of the New Yorker singer-songwriter's song "Zanzibar." Before he learned and played the tune's jazzy keyboard hook, Ronson cleared the sample by an old-fashioned method: "I sent a nice letter to Billy Joel," he told Billboard magazine with a smile. "It's amazing what the power of a polite letter can do for you."
