Songfacts®:

  • Moroccan-born Karim Kharbouch spent the first 13 years of his life in Morocco before emigrating with his parents and two younger brothers to the Bronx in New York City. In 2002, he started creating a series of street-flavoured DVD documentaries called 'Cocaine City' under the name Young French. The DVDs were intended to showcase his talent as an underground artist and the series ran for 8 years, developing into one of the top-selling "street DVDs." Akon signed Kharbouch to his Konvict label in 2009, but the Moroccan rhymer left two years later because of delays in releasing his records. By then he'd adopted the name of French Montana and on January 2, 2012 the rapper announced that he had signed a joint venture deal with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group with Rick Ross and Diddy set to executive produce his debut album. This strip club set single was the first release under his name to reach the Hot 100.
  • Virginia producer Lex Luger supplies the beat, which samples 2 Live Crews' "Pop That P-ssy."
  • Montana tapped Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Drake for verses on this song. When the song entered Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. it became Weezy's 100th entry on that chart of which, Wayne has been the lead act on 31 and a featured artist on 69.
  • The video was shot during "Urban Beach Week" in Miami in a mansion setting with various scantily clad water gun-toting models.
