Songfacts®:

  • Gorgon City is an English Electronic music duo consisting of two North London producers: Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott. They first came to the public attention with their single "Real," featuring Yasmin, which was chosen as 'Record Of The Week' on BBC Radio 1 from Nick Grimshaw and Mistajam and peaked at #44 on the singles chart.
  • This song features the vocal talents of MNEK who co-wrote the track with Gibbon and Robson-Scott. Born in Lewisham, London, Nigerian-descended Uzoechi Emenike (a.k.a. MNEK) started making music in his bedroom at the age of nine, and had a publishing deal by the time he was 14. He got in touch with songwriter Miranda Cooper of Xenomania, on Facebook and ended up co-writing The Saturdays' "All Fired Up" with the Kentish-based production house. MNEK subsequently achieved credits on hit songs by Misha B ("Home Run"), Little Mix ("Wings") and Duke Dumont ("Need U (100%)").
