  • "Blow Away" is part of Staind's fourth album, 14 Shades Of Grey. They were starting to come down after a rapid ascent leading to their third album, Break The Cycle, in 2001. Lead singer Aaron Lewis had been through a lot, and songs like this one find him looking back on his life, which had changed dramatically. He became a father in 2002, the year before 14 Shades Of Grey was released.

  • Jake from Bettendorf, Ianope. This song is about how much he gave up to get where he is and how hes glad he did it. It also says "memories I never thought would fade" the memories of childhood and when he was deppressed with a gun in his throat ready to splatter his brains on the wall
