  • I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I prayed that God would be forgiving

Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hopes apart
And they turn your dreams to shame

And still I dream he'd come to me
That we would live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed

  • Michael Scott from Punta Gorda, FlTo see this performance brings tears to my eyes. I was the same age as Susan Boyle in 2009 when I graduated from a police academy in 2005. I've always liked singing and have gone on talent searches when I was younger. I've been told not to quit my day job, I guess I can't carry a note. I don't have a job now, the only thing I know is how to train to be athletic and fit. I wish that I could have helped some of our greatest entertainers become healthy in return for some voice lessons.
  • Ameelia from London, United KingdomIs she going to release this? I would argue her version is much better than some of the other 'stars' that have recorded this or sung it on stage for Les Mis!
  • Jess from Cobram, Australiaall those people at the start were baggin the crap out of her and laughing at her and she just proved them all wrong.
    that lady is a legend.
its too bad the video up there doesnt show what happens afterwards. she just goes to walk of stage and the judges are like oh wait where r u going stay up on stage!!! lol
    its amazing
