Olivia Dean released her second studio album, The Art Of Loving, in 2025. And one of the LP’s standout tracks, “So Easy (To Fall In Love)”, finds the British soul singer explaining just how frictionless the art of loving can be.

With echoes of Burt Bacharach’s orchestral pop, Dean’s effortless hit is also quite the earworm.

A bossa nova groove sets the relaxed vibe of Dean’s cool romance tune. There’ll be no conflict here. And she’ll undoubtedly be the girl of your dreams, she says.

Dean described the song to Elle as a kind of feminist anthem. “I’ve had songs in the past that I’ve specifically written to uplift other women. Men, of course, can take what they want to take from it; music is for everybody, but I’m such a strong feminist, and I can’t help but let that seep into my music,” she said.
