Former Disney Channel star Demi Lovato kicked off her It’s Not That Deep Tour on April 13. The tour kickoff took place at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. To everyone’s surprise, midway through the Camp Rock song “This Is Me,” Lovato brought out her former Disney Channel co-star Joe Jonas. Jonas is well known as one of three brothers of the group, the Jonas Brothers. Joe Jonas co-starred in the television movie Camp Rock, along with Lovato, and the two briefly dated as well. Additionally, Joe Jonas joined Demi Lovato for a duet performance of “On The Line.” The song appeared on Lovato’s debut album, Don’t Forget, in 2008 and featured the Jonas Brothers. It marked the first time they’ve performed the song together since 2008.
The two joining together on stage goes along with the nostalgia many millennials and Gen Z have felt in recent years. Disney Channel stars have made a significant comeback in 2026. This year, we’ve also seen the return of Hilary Duff, who was the star of the show Lizzie McGuire. She released a new album and announced a tour earlier this year. Also, we’ve seen Miley Cyrus return as Hannah Montana for the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special. Millennial and Gen Z nostalgia is being fed well once again with this Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas reunion, as many grew up watching Camp Rock.

Earlier this month, Joe Jonas appeared at Coachella during Teddy Swims’ performance. The Jonas Brothers have made a significant comeback in recent years. They released Happiness Begins in 2019, followed by The Album in 2023, and most recently, Greetings From Your Hometown in 2025. Along with these comeback releases, the brothers have been touring extensively. The Jonas Brothers wrapped up the North American leg of the Greetings From Your Hometown Tour in December 2025. They will continue the tour in May with concerts in South America, making stops in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
Later this year, there have been rumors of a Jonas Brothers concert at The Sphere in Las Vegas, along with a Camp Rock reunion of some kind. At the moment, these are only rumors. Regardless, fans are excited to see what the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato have in store for 2026.
