Fans were treated to a special appearance by The Cranberries founding members, Mike and Noel Hogan. The brothers joined sombr on stage, performing their iconic hit “Linger.” The song peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1993.
Mike and Noel Hogan formed The Cranberries along with lead singer Dolores O’Riordan in Limerick, Ireland, in 1989. They were one of the best-selling bands of the 1990s, with a string of hits. “Linger” was the band’s breakout hit, and set up the band’s following single, “Zombie,” to hit No. 1 in multiple countries. The song was ineligible to enter the Billboard Hot 100, but it did hit No. 1 on the Alternative Airplay chart in 1994. The group disbanded following Dolores O’Riordan’s tragic, untimely death in 2018.

sombr is an up-and-coming artist who made waves in 2025 with his debut album, I Barely Know Her. The album peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. It includes his breakout hits, “Back to Friends” and “Undressed.” Both songs broke into the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Back to Friends” peaked at No. 7 on the chart, but hit No. 1 on the US Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. It also topped the US Pop Airplay chart. “Undressed” peaked at No. 16 on the Hot 100, but reached No. 1 on the US Rock & Alternative Songs chart. Additionally, the song reached No. 1 in Ireland, where sombr performed on March 16.

The performance was held the night before St. Patrick’s Day, a huge holiday celebration in Ireland. It was appropriate to bring out members of one of Ireland’s most successful groups. sombr wore a bright green shirt with ruffled cuffs for the occasion. Just one month ago, sombr was rushed on stage at the BRIT Awards. He was shoved off a platform by a man in what appeared to be a security breach. The incident was later determined to be a stage publicity stunt.
The Cranberries final performance in Ireland was held on May 17, 2017, in Belfast. The appearance on March 16 marks the first time the brothers have performed since O’Riordan’s death. In 2019, Noel Hogan told the Irish Independent, “The Cranberries without Dolores just isn’t The Cranberries. We won’t replace our friend and lead singer.” On January 15, 2018, Dolores O’Riordan died of accidental drowning due to sedation from alcohol intoxication.
