Stanley Simmons, Sons of KISS Legends, Play First Show Ahead of Debut Album Release

A new duo named Stanley Simmons is exactly as the name states. Evan Stanley is the son of legendary KISS singer Paul Stanley, and Nick Simmons is the son of KISS bass player Gene Simmons. The two grew up together around the same influences and lifestyles. Their fathers spent more than 50 years in the legendary rock group KISS. Nick Simmons co-starred in the reality television show Gene Simmons Family Jewels from 2006 to 2012. In December 2024, the duo began posting videos singing together, which caught the attention of KISS fans everywhere. Fans speculated on further collaboration from the two.

They released their first single in December 2025, titled “Body Down.” In February, Stanley Simmons released a music video for “Body Down,” showing some of the first visuals of the group, aside from their social media videos.

Their sound strays from their fathers, tapping more into folk-rock. The distance in their sound sets them apart from their parents’ fame. Their second single, the upbeat “Dancing While The World Is Ending,” was released on March 27, 2026. A third single titled “Temporary Love” is expected for release on May 8. It has been teased on social media and is said to be the first song the two wrote together. The group is managed and produced by Bob Cavallo, who is known for working with artists such as Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Eric Clapton, and many more.

Stanley Simmons Played Their First Concert in San Diego

On Monday, May 4, Stanley Simmons performed for the first time at the House of Blues in San Diego. They played their previously released singles “Body Down” and “Dancing While The World Is Ending,” along with other tracks to be released on their upcoming album. The band is on a run of four shows at the House of Blues.

Additionally, the new duo has announced their upcoming debut album, Dancing While The World Is Ending. It’s set for release on August 28th. An accompanying tour is yet to be announced but is expected. Stanley Simmons is a group that will be enjoyable to watch grow in the coming years, as the duo are generating catchy folk-rock songs early on in their career.
