Courtney Barnett Expands International Tour to Her Homeland Australia Following Latest Release ‘Creature Of Habit’

Courtney Barnett has made a name for herself as an indie rock icon. This spring, Barnett embarks on an international tour supporting her latest release. Creature Of Habit was released on March 27, 2026, and features the singles “Stay In Your Lane,” “Site Unseen featuring Waxahatchee,” “Mantis,” “Sugar Plum,” and “One Thing At A Time.” The new album was written shortly after Barnett relocated to Los Angeles, moving from Melbourne. This marks Barnett’s fourth studio album and currently sits at No. 25 on the Billboard US Top Album Sales chart. It has peaked at No. 6 on the UK Independent Albums chart. Katie Crutchfield, also known as Waxahatchee, is featured on the track “Site Unseen.” Additionally, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers provided bass on the track “One Thing At A Time.”

The International Tour Will Hit North America, the UK, Europe, and the Australian East Coast

Following a hiatus from Australian touring lasting four years, Courtney Barnett will return to her homeland for a string of shows at the end of her international tour. In Australia, Barnett has earned multiple top-three albums, along with 6 ARIA Music Awards. In 2015, she won the Australian Music Prize. Ahead of her return to Australia, Barnett’s international tour kicks off in the US in May. On May 1, 2026, Barnett will perform in Austin, Texas, and will then make her way to Houston and Dallas. Key stops on the North America leg of the tour will be in Nashville, Boston, and New York City.

On June 12, Barnett will perform a solo show in Honolulu, Hawaii, marking her first Hawaiian performance. Shortly after, she will play a string of shows in Japan before returning to the US in August with shows in Cleveland, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. In October, the tour moves to Europe with stops in Berlin, Brussels, and Paris. In the UK, Barnett will perform in Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, and London. Recently, Barnett added November dates on the Australian east coast. On November 4, Barnett performs in Brisbane City, and two days later, a big welcome home performance at the Sydney Opera House. The next night, she’ll make a stop in St. Kilda, Victoria. Unless further dates are added, this will wrap up the international tour.
